giving back

a.j.e.less designs is giving back! here are two of several items that we are donating in a basket to a "Breast Intentions" auction to help women and families who are struggling due to breast cancer. For more info, visit http://www.breastfriendsforever.org/site/nj/.

I made a set of these blocks for my cousin's baby shower and they were such a hit that I got a second order on the spot! these blocks were originally designed to display baby's age, but could really be used to count down toward anything you might be looking forward to!

a.j.e.less designs, now in store!

after years of having customers tell us we should really look into ways of getting our products on the shelves (or online -- maybe someday!), we finally sought out some in-store possibilities. we landed on The Depot, a gift store that is completely volunteer run so that all profits are donated to Children's Aid and Family Services. The Depot is also known for being an outlet for local crafters and artists to showcase and sell their unique work. we were thrilled to hear that The Depot would love to display some of our crafts, including hand-painted glass pieces and gift bags, for starters. we encourage you to check out The Depot if you are looking for an original gift! Click here for more information about The Depot (mission, hours, etc).

after saving wine corks for who knows how long, I finally found a good use for them. this one of a kind cork wreath became a house warming/engagement gift for my brother. wishing I had one for myself too... guess I need to drink more wine!
