it's been a busy few months for a.j.e.less designs!

between Annette marrying the man of her dreams, Elyse moving into a new house, and Jenna making plans for a baby due this summer, we've been a little preoccupied!

but in the midst of it all, we always find some time for crafting! check out a few of our most recent designs!

Though it's always fun to craft (especially when the 3 of us are together!), it's even more enjoyable when the project is for someone you know and love. I am so excited for my sister as she was recently engaged -- this sign was my engagement gift to her and my soon-to-be new brother in law!

congratulations to the newlyweds! we love to create unique and personalized gifts for weddings, showers, newborns, and more!

one of these little ones was warmly welcomed to the world just over 10 days ago, but Mom couldn't buy a sign for one and not the other! so big sister got a new addition to her room as well. it was fun to coordinate the signs, even though they are not exactly the same. Isabella's is a baby stat sign, complete with all of her birth information, while Victoria's is a baby name sign, simply stated with name and birthday.

Here's what Mom had to say:

"They look fantastic - I LOVE them! Thank you! I have two other girlfriends due in the next few months so you'll definitely be hearing from me soon!"

I must admit my skepticism when we were first asked to make a baby stat sign. I thought it would be too difficult to organize so much information in different sizes and directions in a limited space. thank goodness that my business partners are more willing to take risks! annette ventured into the world of baby stat signs, and we are so glad she did. now, all three of us have made our fair share of them! I think I've made one a week for 3 weeks in a row! orders for these signs just keep coming! we may have a new best seller on our hands!

I've been going to Mandy's Underground Fitness for several months now - it is such a great place to have fun while getting a great work out in too! Now that Mandy has added a second location at The Healing Loft (1581 Route 23 South, Wayne, NJ), her business partner, Christie, contacted us to make a sign for her new place! With a little inspiration from a decorative piece she already had in the space, this sign was designed! Check it out at The Healing Loft - it looks great!

though our double sided wooden signs are typically used as wedding or anniversary gifts, it was fun to branch out on this project! my cousin wanted a gift for her dad's birthday -- something he could hang in his office. she told me the words she wanted to include, and colors she had in mind. I took care of the rest! I look forward to seeing it on display!

A good friend of mine is working hard to bring home a baby girl from the Congo. She asked for a pink sign to hang in her room ... it brought me so much joy to make this for her! I can't wait to meet this sweet girl!

one of our NEW designs! these twin girls are some of the first to get them. with hardware mounted on the back, these will hang great in the babies' room!

these blocks can be arranged in so many ways! they are a great way to use engagement photos, but we have also made them with family photos. really, any photos will do! stack and sort them any way you wish. these blocks can be made with or without the matching, larger "saying sign." what a great gift idea!

This sign is the same size as our "teacher name sign," but it is double sided. Makes it easy to decorate for the holidays! Just flip this sign around to switch decor from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

Our open house was a huge success! Thanks to all who came out to support us. With your help, we were able to raise $100 for the Red Cross' disaster relief efforts (10% of our earnings that night).

We are now busy, busy with orders to get done before Christmas! All 3 of us have been hard at work so we have a lot to share with you. Here are a few of our most recent family name sign designs.
